Day 12--Jerusalem

Connie, Stephen, and I took a cab from Netanya to Jerusalem. We're staying at a very cute hotel.  There are umbrellas covering the top of our street.

We dropped off our bags and walked into the old city through the Jaffa Gate.

There were a lot more women than men praying at the Western Wall.  I hadn't been here for twenty years.  The wall is still incredibly moving.

We had a wonderful dinner at Machneyuda recommended by friends Lee and Peter.  It really was wonderful.  We had the tasting menu and ate way too much.

We sat at the bar and next to me was a woman who had gone to college at IU--small world!!!
