Day 6--More Netanya

Spent the day back in Netanya.  They have an interesting way to make swimming beaches here.  They make a breakwater of rocks and create a wave-free swimming zone.   There are three in a row on this beach.  In the left hand corner you can see the start of a second breakwater.

 

I've mentioned that there is a lot of art (and murals) around town.  We pass this house everyday as we walk from the apartment to the main square.  The artist has her work everywhere.

Had a nice lunch at a view restaurant.  I ordered eggplant and to my surprise I got a whole one in Tahini sauce.  Yum!





We had dinner tonight with a Yemeni woman who is friends with my cousins.  Esther made us a wonderful authentic Yemeni dinner.
