We then went to Caesarea. It's an amazing place with ruins from the Romans, Byzantines, and Crusaders. The Roman aqueduct was very impressive. It supplied a steady water source for Caesarea from 8 miles away.
We had lunch at a marvelous restaurant, Helena, run by two famous Israeli chefs. I had fish carpaccio and a fish soup.
This is the view from my seat at the table.
The ruins were spread out over a huge area. Here's a sample.
This was the palace swimming pool.
They had lots of areas for kids to make arts and crafts--they were painting wooden swords and making all types of Roman paraphernalia.
In the evening Stephen, Connie, and I had a simple meal in the Sukkot made by our apartment.

It was a blast!
