Day 7--Debate, Museum, Street Art, & Wine Tasting

Today was jammed packed.  It started at 4:00 AM. Connie, Stephen, and I got up at 4:00 to watch the third debate. Later I went with Esther to the Netanya Museum.  It was really fascinating to see how this town of 230,000 people started as an agricultural settlement in 1929. This mosaic is on the front of the museum.

Early on it became a tourist town because of the beautiful beaches.  This is the path to the beach, then and now.

Next to the walkway is a stunning amphitheater.

We ate lunch at Georgian restaurant and watched our meal being made.

In the afternoon, Wendy, Esther, and I went on a street art tour.  There are 27 building murals in Netanya.  They were spectacular.  Here are a few.

We ended up at a wine tasting festival in the town square.  There were wines from all over Israel, great food, and entertainment.

It was another great day in Netanya.
