Day 2--Exploring Netanya

Today was a wonderfully relaxing day.  Our apartment is right across from the beach and Connie and I walked from the apartment to the town square and then down to the beach.


We're on the 6th floor.

 We had a wonderful brunch at an outdoor cafe on the square.

Who knew there was surfing in Israel

To get down to the beach there is a huge elevator.

Cousins Wendy and Jeff took us to another family's home for dinner--Faith, Asher, and their dog Charlie.

So far my first full day has been marvelous.  We're heading out tonight for folk dancing in the town square.
