Day 10--Maghar, Zefat, Hula Preserve, the Galilee

Today was another jam packed day.  We started out by driving to the next village, Maghar, where Hashim's sister lives.  The whole family was there and his sister made pitas and pita-pizzas.  In this photo you'll see Hashim's sister flipping a pita in mid air into the plastic tub.

After pitas were made for the whole family for the week, they started on pita-pizzas for breakfast.

We then drove to Zafat and spent time walking through the old town.

Next we went to the Hula Nature Preserve.  I brought along my binoculars, so it was a real treat.  There was a board walk that went far out into the marsh area.

There were catfish everywhere in the water.

We then had a meal at a wonderful Arabic seafood restaurant, where we had delicious fish from the Galilee (Peter's fish).

Hashim and Rawia then drove around the entire Galilee.

Here is Tiberius at night.

Another awesome day!!!
