Then we drove to Cana which is the place where Jesus was supposed to have turned water into wine at a wedding. It is place where many Christians go to get married. This is an Eritrean wedding.
There are two churches that claim to have the jars that the wine was in. Here's the Greek Orthodox version. The church was beautiful.

Then we went on to Nazareth.

I loved the old market. These are tons of olives and antiques.

We then went to the house of a colleague of Rawia, Moosa, who is an oud player who has lived in the states for many years and returned to Nazareth 3 years ago. He was so gracious, offering us sweets and coffee which we couldn't refuse.
While we were there a world-famous oud musician, Naveel Assam, stopped by the house. He was leaving in two days to go back to his home in Playa-del-Ray.
We were then off to Haifa. What a beautiful city. We wandered the cafe street that ended with an amazing B'hai temple that what built up the entire side of a hill.

We then went to the beach at Haifa and drove home so we could see the B'hai temple at night.
We ended up back in Eilaboun for a wonderful dinner. Rawia's boys are amazing. One is just starting college studying oceanography in Netanya and the other is in the process of applying to MIT.
I never get to do anything.
